I’ve been experimenting a lot with saffron cooking lately. Absolutely love the fragrance, colour and taste of food with addition of this elixir. For the first time ever I tried making kesar pista Kulfi and it turned out amazing. Check out the recipe. I’ve made it as per the way I like having it. It’s super simple to make.
1 ltr full fat milk
Half tspn elaichi
20grams pista chopped
100 grams sugar
Few strands kesar
1 cup cream
Take milk in a vessel. Heat the milk on full flame till firat boil.
After the first boil add all ingredients and let it simmer on low flame till u get rich color and till the milk goes half in quantity with boiling.
Then take it off the stove and let it cool completely.
After that transfer it to the kulfi stand and put it in freezer.
After 8 hrs remove from freezer and enjoy the delicious creamy homemade kulfi.
Garnish it with some crushed pistachio and kesar before serving.
