Ganpati bappa morya

With Ganpati festival on we all hv been visiting others houses for the blessings of bappa. Usually we prefer taking some offer to the God when we visit someone else’s house. I happened to go to a sweet shop but right next to it I see that one of my fav bakery has something innovative for the festival. They had cake modaks.

The place is called English Vinglish the stylish dessert boutique by TV chef Ranveer Brar. It’s a quaint little brightly lit shop located in Juhu next to Gangor sweet shop. They truly live upto to the name of stylish desserts. They had cake modaks in 4 flavours; the most favourite red velvet, the always in demand yummy chocolate, a fusion of orange vanilla n a very new fresh flavour of green tea. These cake modaks were moist, super tasty and a complete visual treat as a gift. They were giving these out on leather trays with gold handles for that awesome presentation.

I’ve visited this place many a times on several occasions and apart from these modaks which is the flavour of the season they hv amazing tea cakes, lavash, very creative cheesecakes and snacks. I absolutely love their cherry chocolate tea cake, cookies and baked wada pav. Even the shrikhand doughnuts and sondesh cheesecake look mouth watering.

I’m drooling as I even write this…go try it and ull know what I’m talking bout!!
